Mike Marlowe Vice President of Customer Solutions, Kane Is Able,
Inc.
Mike Marlowe is the Vice President of Customer Solutions for Kane is Able, Inc.
headquartered in Scranton, Pennsylvania. KANE is a third-party logistics
provider (3PL) whose primary focus is delivering best in class results to
consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies who warehouse and distribute product
throughout North America. Mike has more than 18 years experience in the
logistics industry, in various management positions.
In 2004, Mike joined the Kane operations team to lead the expansion of their
contract warehousing outside of the Northeast United States. Over the next 4
years he was instrumental in Kane’s growth in key markets and helped to expanded
Kane operations into the Los Angeles, Chicago, Kansas City and Atlanta markets.
In that time period Kane added more than 5 million sqft of operating space, and
expanded into the customization business adding locations in all major US
markets.
Currently Mike leads Kane’s Customer Solutions team that is charged with new
business development, account management, and customer service. In this role
Mike and his team are charged with providing innovative solutions to customers
that balance cost, quality, and the increasing demand to do it in a sustainable
way.
Before joining Kane, Mike worked as a Customer Service Vice President for Genco
Distribution System where he had oversight of various operations across the
United States. Additionally Mike worked as Director of Operations for Newgistics,
an Austin Texas based company that focused on reverse logistics for non- brick
and mortar retailers.
Mike is an active member of International Warehousing Logistics Association (IWLA),
Warehouse Education & Research Council (WERC), and the Council of Supply Chain
Management Professionals (CSCMP). Mike has been selected to present at CSCMP,
WERC, and the Center for Supply Chain Research at Penn State University.
Mike resides in Fredericksburg, PA with his wife, Jocelyn, their three sons,
Michael, Ethan, Ryan, and their 2 daughters, Alyssa, and Emma.
