Michael McLaughlinAs a Senior Software Executive for SciQuest, Mike McLaughlin (Mac) leverages a deep background in technology to help guide SciQuest clients in capturing hidden value, as it relates to:

Mac's focus is to understand the unique procurement challenges faced today by global and national companies alike, and to provide practical, time-tested strategies, that not only help increase on-contract spend and drive significant cost savings, but facilitates visibility across the organization, as it relates to actionable information, leveraging consistent supplier performance metrics and value capture opportunities.

 

 

 

Mac has over 30 years of systems expertise in the areas of:
• Procurement,
• Workforce Management,
• Supply Chain Planning and Execution,
• Manufacturing Execution and
• CRM solutions (people, process, and technologies) that collectively bring a unique perspective in understanding a company's value chain, and where technology investments can be best leveraged to enhance overall profitability.

Mac is entrepreneurial at heart, having been involved in the start-up of two technology companies over his career. One of the start-ups was focused on introducing demand-based ERP to Job Shop manufacturers, and the other was promoting and implementing APS engines (Advanced Planning and Scheduling) from i2 Technologies to Tier 2 and Tier 3 manufacturing and distribution companies.

Mac earned his Bachelor's degree in Marketing Management from Bentley University, and resides in Massachusetts with his wife and four children.
